Back in the Saddle at B-Side

After being in haitus for over a year, the band kicked the gigging silence at the Sari-Sari Sounds Launch Party at B-Side, The Collective, in Makati last July 1, 2011. This is also the first gig the band had with new drummer, Andrew Contreras. Below are a few videos from their set that night.

DME Christmas Party 2010 Gig

Below is a video taken during our gig at the Digital Media Exchange Roof Desk Christmas Party last December 10, 2010. This was the first two songs of the set. Thanks to Topher for the video.

Here are some pictures from the gig as well. Thanks to Euri, Topher, and Roma for the pictures.

That was fun!!!

SunDownMuse is Still Alive

I went on a beach trip at White Beach, Puerto Galera. At a resort there called CocoAroma, I found this.

It's the poster of the gig we had at CocoAroma back in May 6, 2006. I posted pictures from this gig a while back. The link to that particular post is below:

http://sundownmuse.blogspot.com/2008/07/gig-at-white-beach-puerto-galera.html

Seeing that poster definitely brought back a lot of fond memories of that gig.

It's been a while since anybody has heard from SunDownMuse.  So here are some snippet updates to get everybody up to speed:

• SunDownMuse has been on a haitus for a number of months.  Some of the core members revelled in the realm of classic rock in a spin-off band called Rolling Paper Society the past months.
• Charles Fuentes is now back in the band line-up as the lead guitarist once again.
• Noel Duena (drummer of Pinwheel and a whole slew of other bands) joins the band as our drummer.
• The band is now working on new material and are working towards being gig ready in the next month or so.

So we're still alive! We're gonna keep at it while the music is still playing.

P.S. Imeem got bought out by MySpace a while back. So all our audio posts in here no longer work. I'm just too lazy to delete them all one by one. We'll be uploading bootleg recordings of our next gigs from a new site.

6Underground Video

We were surprised to find out that Club 6Underground produced a video of SunDownMuse playing the song "Burned" during a gig at the place back in 2008. Below is the video.

Thanks to Bel from 6UG for the video. Check out 6UG's YouTube channel "6ugliveandraw" for other videos of bands that have played there.
