I went on a beach trip at White Beach, Puerto Galera. At a resort there called CocoAroma, I found this.

It's the poster of the gig we had at CocoAroma back in May 6, 2006. I posted pictures from this gig a while back. The link to that particular post is below:

Seeing that poster definitely brought back a lot of fond memories of that gig.

It's been a while since anybody has heard from SunDownMuse. So here are some snippet updates to get everybody up to speed:

SunDownMuse has been on a haitus for a number of months. Some of the core members revelled in the realm of classic rock in a spin-off band called Rolling Paper Society the past months.
Charles Fuentes is now back in the band line-up as the lead guitarist once again.
Noel Duena (drummer of Pinwheel and a whole slew of other bands) joins the band as our drummer.
The band is now working on new material and are working towards being gig ready in the next month or so.

So we're still alive! We're gonna keep at it while the music is still playing.

P.S. Imeem got bought out by MySpace a while back. So all our audio posts in here no longer work. I'm just too lazy to delete them all one by one. We'll be uploading bootleg recordings of our next gigs from a new site.

Below are pictures of one of many SunDownMuse gigs we had in the now defunct Millenia. We used to play there every Monday for at least 6-7 months back then. "Monday Jazz Nights" at Millenia, and we were the only band. Go figure. We're not Jazz exactly mind you. This particular gig was during a Nek-Nek-Mo Production back in November 11, 2003. We've had quite a number of gigs in SaGuijo the past years. But this particular gig was a memorable one back in June 7, 2005. Nityallila, one of our very good friends, invited us to play in their event. This was ironically the first gig that we played with Charles Fuentes back in the band as our lead guitarist. Although we now have a new lead guitarist, we will always remember how much of a bad-ass Charles is on a six-string instrument. Check out pictures of the gig below.

Our apologies, we won't be making it to Sunshine Productions' gig at Club Dredd tonight. One of our band members has to take care of a family emergency that just came up today.

Today is supposed to be Fete de la Musique 2008. We no longer have any contacts with the organizers of the annual event compared to years past. Instead, here are pictures of the wild time we had at Fete de la Musique 2005 at the Podium in Ortigas. The Alternative Stage was riddled with people that night. OzBound Gig: Ryan Villamayor's Despedida Gig

Hey Fwendz!!!
Me and my band produced a despedida gig before I leave for Australia. This will be on May 15, 2008 at Bela Bar in Greenhills. Bela Bar is situated in P. Guevarra st and only a few meters away from Wilson. If you're coming from Ortigas(from the Galleria), turn left in order to land on Wilson then go straight up to where the one way lane ends then turn right in P. Guevarra. The gig will definitely start at 9pm since it's a Thursday and I have to report to work on the next day. Here's the line up...

Our One Night Stand With Bela

This particular gig proved to be an interesting one. We were originally supposed to play back to back with Johnny Alegre of Affinity. We were really excited about that until Jopet, the band organizer for Bela Bar, texted me saying Mr. Alegre cancelled on the gig. We got initially disappointed because Affinity is such a kick ass band. And to be paired with them was a compliment on its own.

Jopet then asked us if we can play for the night. Of course, a gig is a gig, and we were fortunate enough for Jopet to hook us up with a gig in the first place. So we agreed to play two sets for that night. It's one of the last gigs with Balot, our drummer. So we'll take any gig we can get before Balot leaves for Australia by May....
